How To Become A Driving Instructor
To become a qualified driving instructor in the UK, you must successfully complete the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualification process. This consists of three DVSA assessments designed to evaluate your theory knowledge, driving ability, and instructional skills before joining the ADI Register.

How Do I Become A Driving Instructor?

How Long Does Driving Instructor Training Take?
Training times vary depending on individual availability, learning pace, test availability and how quickly qualification stages are completed. Some trainees progress faster than others depending on experience and personal commitments. On average we’d expect you to pass your Part 1 test within 12 weeks of signing up, and passed your Part 2 test and completed your Part 3 initial training within a further 12-16 weeks (Part 2 test dates affect this). Projections would be to be on the road and earning money within 6 months of signing up.
