Applying for Your DBS
31st July 2024

What is a DBS?
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is a criminal record check, which must be completed to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). If you already have a DBS, you must renew it through the DVSA for £8.22, through the DVSA’s chosen provider, as they do not accept the online subscription service. Once completed, this should take on average 4-6 weeks.
What you need:
- Organisation ID – ‘ORG-37PYZBHM’
- Access Code – ‘axisPDIPO’
- Organisation Name – ‘DVSA – PDI (PO)
- 3 forms of ID
